EDIYBLES Equipment Care & Use - Care and use instructions for Silicone Molds, Stove Top Infuser, and Child Resistant Locking Bag.

Bite Sized Silicone Molds

Your non-stick silicone molds are designed for all types of environments.

They are reusable for thousands of batches and provide even heat transfer to all baked goods and can be used in the freezer, too!

  • For best results, prior to first use, clean your silicone molds with a damp, soft sponge, then rinse with clean water. Shake to remove excess water and dry in open air.
  • After all subsequent uses, clean with warm, soapy water. If using a dishwasher, place on top rack only.
  • If enjoying EDIYBLES with a group, collect empty molds in a large cup containing warm, soapy water.
  • A slight oily residue after washing is normal, as is a slight discoloration.
  • Once clean and dry, store the molds in a stack.
  • Do not use scraper or brush to clean non-stick molds.
  • For bakery mixes, place non-stick silicone molds on a baking sheet or pan prior to adding batter to mold. For candy mixes, place molds on a flat surface or container before pouring hot mix.
  • Do not use oil, grease or cooking spray in silicone molds.
  • Non-stick silicone molds function in temperatures ranging from -40 F to 480 F (-40 C to 280 C). Do not use outside of this temperature range.
  • Do not use silicone molds with a broiler or grill, and do not place directly on the bottom of an oven.
  • Never cut or use damaged/ripped silicone molds, as the fiberglass mesh material could migrate into the food.
  • Remove edibles from the molds by pressing upward on the bottom of the mold with your thumb while peeling away the exterior walls.

Stove Top Infuser

  • For best results, prior to first use, hand wash your Stove Top Infuser with a damp, soft sponge, then rinse with clean water. Shake to remove excess water and dry in open air.
  • After all subsequent uses, clean with warm, soapy water. If using a dishwasher, place on top rack only.
  • Disassemble the unit completely, removing the funnel, upper gasket, and upper screen (insert pictures).
  • Dispose of used plant material in the trash after second infusion.
  • Scrub any caramelized sugars from the inside of the base.
  • Rinse all parts with hot water.
  • Let all parts dry completely before reassembling and storing.

Child Resistant Locking Bag

  • When used with the easy-to-operate clip, these heavy duty, tear resistant zipper bags offer secure for your infused goods.
  • Bags are 100% reusable and recyclable.
  • Bags may be hand washed in warm soapy water and air dried.
  • Even with child resistant features, bags containing infused goods should be kept out of the reach of children and pets.

How to Seal the Bag with Clip

  1. Unzip bag. Remove clip. Place infused goods inside.
  2. Slide zipper until bag closes.
  3. With left hand clutching top of bag, use your right hand to slide the unlocked clip across the zipper so that the clip surrounds the zipper on both sides. The top of the zipper should rest above the third notch on the clip.
  4. Squeeze the clip together and hold the Press button with your left thumb.
  5. With right hand, twist the knob to the right several full turns until the clip feels tight.

How to Open the Bag with Clip

  1.  Hold down the Press button with your left thumb.
  2. With right hand, twist the knob to the left several full turns until the clip releases the bag.
  3. Unzip the bag to access the contents.

The Capsule Machine

Since the materials in the Capsule Machine can melt at temperatures close to 180 degrees F, care is necessary if using a dishwasher. The heat function on many dishwashers can exceed the maximum temperature. Washing with hot soapy water normally does the job. Take care if you are taking the springs off the base or top of the Capsule Machine. Make sure you pry the springs gently off the tabs holding them in place. And when you want to reinsert the springs, insert one side under the tab, and then the others. Some powders may stain any plastic surface, such as the Capsule Machine surfaces.

The Magical Butter Machine

The Magical Butter Machine has a self-cleaning function.

Unplug the electrical cord from the device. Fill the pitcher with water to a level halfway between the MIN and MAX lines. Add a small amount of dish soap, secure the head, plug the electrical cord back in, and press the Clean button.

After the Clean cycle has completed, unplug the electrical cord from the device, and rinse the remaining soap out of the interior of the machine. Note: DO NOT WET OR SUBMERGE ANY BLACK-COLORED PARTS OF THE MACHINE.
